Please note: This is a photo heavy post!

WonderCon, which is held at the Anaheim Convention Center, is my second favorite geeky convention to attend after Star Wars Celebration. I love the location, the set-up (the convention show floor is HUGE), and just the overall vibe. If you haven't yet, you can check out my video footage of the event here.

It felt really great to be back and to connect with both old and new friends. I love to look for Star Wars art and cosplay when attending conventions, and I'm excited to be able to share some of what I saw with you today! WonderCon is a place where fans from all different fandoms come together to celebrate what they love. This includes Disney, Marvel, DC, Anime, and more! So if you enjoy either of these franchises, you’re probably going to have a good time!

If you missed out, you can look forward to the event next year on March 24th-26th. Fridays are typically not as crowded which is much more convenient for browsing all of the booths on the convention show floor. Saturday is the busiest day which is great if you're wanting to appreciate and take photos of all of the cosplayers. If you're able to, going at least two days is ideal so that you don't feel rushed in seeing things. Don't forget, there are amazing panels that take place throughout the day all weekend as well!

It’s a great feeling when you get to see your friends set-up with their own booth at a convention! I was so excited to see BBCRE8 and Punch It Chewie Press. This is only a small taste of what they provide in their shops., and they’re always coming out with new merchandise! Their pins, prints, patches, etc. are amazing and some of my favorites in my collection. I highly recommend giving them a follow!

I spotted these very Disney-esque Rey and Leia prints by Nikki Ward and couldn’t help but snap a photo! Everything at this booth felt very magical. You can shop some of these prints here.

Russ Richards is a freelance illustrator. His Ewok art prints and various stickers are too cute for words! You can find this Ewok print and several other cute variations here.

These fantastic metal sculptures by Metal Souls really stood out at the convention! They have all kinds of sci-fi options available to purchase. The Star Wars sculptures range in price from $35 - $795 depending on the size. They’re definitely worth taking a look at!

Caleb King is an illustrator for Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, and more! I love the way that the water colors just drip down from the subject of the painting, it’s such a unique effect! Be sure to check out his shop here.

The painting of the Stormtrooper with a surfboard, and a Star Destroyer and the Death Star in the horizon stopped me in my tracks. Cliff Wassmann is both a painter and photographer who enjoys combining the real world with fantasy in select pieces. It’s such a cool concept!

  1. The cool cosplay is always some of my favorites. especially when they get into Creatures. Also, the Droid builders were amazing, especially the one that turned that little Grogu doll into a moving one!
