My Seasons of the Force Experience | Anakin And His Angel

If you haven't yet experienced Season of the Force at Disneyland, I would highly suggest checking it out before it leaves Tomorrowland next Summer. And in case you didn't know, Seasons of the Force will also be opening at Walt Disney World on December 4th! It really makes me happy that they've added SOTF to both parks because it allows more people the chance to visit. The more Star Wars fans that get to participate, the better!

* Please excuse the inconsistency in the appearance of these photos. Silly me left my camera battery at home so what you're about to see is a compilation of all of our photos taken with our phones.

Before my mom, sister, and I headed to Tomorrowland we stopped at D-Street in Downtown Disney. They had new Star Wars Darth Vader Eachez Vinylmations that released on November 20th, the day we happened to be there, and I had to get one! The common figure in this Eachez set is Unmasked Vader with a 9 out of 10 chance of pulling him and the other is Masked Vader. Luckily, it was actually the common that I wanted and that is what I pulled! The details on this particular Vinylmation are incredible. He even has little scuff marks all over his body and cape. Some people think he's freaky looking but I think he just needs some lovin'.

As you enter Tomorrowland there's a large Seasons of the Force banner welcoming you along with music from the Star Wars films that repeats continuously throughout the day. When we arrived, the Across the Stars theme was playing which seemed rather fitting. Talk about emotions! There are large light side and dark side banner decorations hanging from the track of the People Mover featuring characters from the films, The Clone Wars, and Rebels. I felt like a child naming each character rather loudly as we made our way through. I couldn't help it!

Be on your guard while walking around Tomorrowland because you may run into some First Order Stormtroopers. We didn't see them, but I've seen photos of them with other fans. You'll also find various Star Wars popcorn buckets and steins, Death Star balloons (they cost a whopping $14 but they light up at night!), and even special Arabesh name tags you can purchase for $10 in a small shop across from the Launch Bay.

The Jedi Training Academy is still going strong and will have some new updates starting December 8th including the addition of the female Inquisitor from Rebels!

We first stopped at Pizza Port to get my sister her BB-8 sipper ($13.29 with purchase of a drink) and the orange-dyed BB-8 rice krispies treat ($4.99). We heard they had an abundance of them there but we also found out they had many available at the Galactic Grill where we had lunch. My mom and I ordered the Chopper Salad and couldn't believe how tasty it was! For $9.99 you get a lot of food and it's definitely one of the better salads I've had in the parks. I loved the roasted pepper-ranch dressing! We also got the Darth By Chocolate ($5.99), a parfait with layers of dark chocolate ganache, red velvet cake, and chocolate sponge. It sounds overwhelming but it was quite delicious. It was the little Vader helmet and lightsaber that were both unusually strong tasting. My sister got the Cheese-3 PO Burger (not pictured) which she said was good. I believe it was just their basic burger they've always sold there but of course the Star Wars name made it more exciting to order and devour.

The Star Wars Launch Bay was remarkable! This is where you can meet Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and if you're lucky, Boba Fett (watch for him where the Cantina set-up is!). While in line for Vader and Chewie, you'll find amazing helmet and light saber props from the films (including the Prequels), The Clone Wars, and Rebels. It meant a lot to me that nothing was left out. Obviously there was a lot more OT content involved but it felt so good to see characters and ships from across the galaxy. They didn't feel separate from each other. They felt like one, as they should. The Launch Bay also has other props and costumes scattered throughout the center, a designated space for you to try out Disney Infinity 3.0, a seated area where a Behind-the-Scenes video is shown, as well as some exclusive shopping. To say we enjoyed ourselves here is an understatement. This is where we spent the most of our time!

Another fantastic experience was shopping in The Star Trader! It's been completely Star Wars-ified with all kinds of clothing, accessories, toys, and collectibles for everyone. I LOVED it! I picked up a brand new Captain Phasma muscle tank from Her Universe which I can't wait to outfit and share with you! I honestly think it only makes complete sense for Disney to keep the Star Trader set up this way. I wish I got more photos of the inside, but I guess I was just too busy shopping!

I was unable to discover the new ride updates on Star Tours and Hyperspace Mountain as well as the 10-minute film, Path of the Jedi, because of two lovely things called motion sickness and anxiety, but I really enjoyed everything else I got to experience there. It made me even more excited for the new Star Wars land! This was just a small teaser compared to what we're in store for...
