I am absolutely thrilled to launch Style Wars today along with my sweet friend Savanna of The Dorky Diva! Savanna is a huge fan of Star Wars and showcases her fandom on her blog through unique and engaging content on her posts and her very own monthly podcast.
Style Wars is an original quarterly series that is a combination of both Jenmarie and Savanna's two favorite passions - Star Wars and fashion. Together they will be styling Star Wars outfits based off of the same fashion piece. Their mission for this fashion series is to show off how different fangirls envision outfitting Star Wars clothes in their own unique way. Instead of comparing who wore it best, they want to celebrate the different ways Star Wars pieces can be worn.

For the first installment of Style Wars, Savanna and I decided on a Rogue One scarf by Loungefly that we found at Hot Topic for just under $12, and it's still available to purchase if you feel you need it in your life as well. It's covered with Imperial symbols and silhouettes of ships and Death Troopers!
To see more photos of the brilliant way Savanna styled her outfit along with details about what else she wore, be sure to check out her post here!

When transitioning into Spring, I don't stop thinking about layers. Light layers, to be more specific. I'm a lady who often gets cold and will even carry a cardigan in my bag during warmer weather. So wearing scarves throughout the year isn't unusual for me at all. I styled my outfit around this scarf with a day of comfortable shopping in mind. But comfortable doesn't have to mean entirely simple. I like my accessories! That's where the headband and Death Star Midi ring came in. Additions like these add more character to any outfit. I even dressed up my "May the Force be with you" tote bag with a K-2SO pin I got from the Rogue One Smuggler's Bounty box and an awesome Death Trooper keychain. Combined with the lightweight scarf, I have a completed ensemble that feels and looks great!
Please let Savanna and I both know what you think of our outfits in a comment below or on Twitter and stay tuned for our next Style Wars which will go up in July! In the mean time, remember to check or blogs regularly as we will continue to provide our own style-centered posts as well.
As always, I will share "Outfit Outtakes" from time to time on my social media pages and exclusive photos on my Patreon page.
