Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo Breakfast Review

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo Breakfast Review | Anakin and His Angel

This week I finally made it over to Galaxy's Edge early enough to try some of the unique breakfast foods they provide on Batuu until 10:00 am. Eventually I hope that the time will be extended until 10:30 or 11:00 am like most of the dining locations at the park but for now we'll just have to make do and get ourselves out of bed!

I chose to go to Docking Bay 7 and ordered the Rising Moons Overnight Oats ($6.99) and the Mustafarian Lava Roll ($5.99), both of which you can use your Annual Passholder discount on.

The Rising Moons Overnight Oats is made with oats, yogurt, and a colorful mix of seasonal fruit. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the decent portion, but by the taste and how much I liked it! There's the perfect amount of oats mixed into the yogurt that gives it a great texture and flavor. They didn't skimp on the fruit and I enjoyed it all but one piece that had a questionable taste to me. Overall, it's a filling breakfast option that I really enjoyed and would absolutely order again. You can also find this item on the breakfast menu at Ronto Roasters and Oga's Cantina.

The Mustafarian Lava Roll is like something that falls between a cinnamon roll and a pastry (and it's just about as big as the other cinnamon rolls throughout the park). It is topped with an icing that I couldn't quite make out and crumbled oreo cookies. There was even a very light filling in the middle but that too, was a mysterious flavor to me. I was disappointed because my Lava Roll was not warm at all. In fact, I don't know why I didn't go back and request a new one. Although it was soft, the fact that it was a room temperature treat really threw me off. If it were warm it would have been so much better especially because I imagine the icing would've been more melted. It had a good flavor and it wasn't overly sweet, I didn't even taste the Oreos to be honest! However, I wouldn't order this again unless I knew it was going to be served to me hot. I honestly wouldn't choose to eat this for breakfast either. It's more of a treat to me. You can also find this item on the breakfast menu at Oga's Cantina.

There are a variety of food options at Docking Bay 7 and it's a great place to take a break and enjoy all there is to look at while sitting indoors or outdoors. You can see more photos and food reviews from my first visit there in this post if you're interested.

Tell me, have you been to Docking Bay 7? What is your favorite thing to order there? Would you try any of the foods mentioned in my review? Leave a comment below and let me know!

  1. I've had the Felucian Garden Wrap thing at lunch and the Roast Beef with cavatappi pasta at dinner. Both are amazing. I've returned and had them again a few times.

Both desserts (raspberry and a chocolate one) are delicious too.

I eat breakfast before leaving my house, so I never eat that at the park.

    1. Oh, I love the Felucian Garden Wrap so much! I've had it twice already. I haven't tried the pasta dish yet though or the raspberry treat. They're on my list!
