Star Wars OOTD: Casual Princess Leia

I know that curating an outfit together, even if it's a geeky one, doesn't come naturally for everyone. So, I wanted to show you just how simple styling a casual Princess Leia outfit can be. It only requires a couple of key pieces to create a polished look that resembles our Princess.

Tori recently opened her Etsy shop, Creature Cartel, where she designs lovely Star Wars-inspired jewelry pieces and accessories. This Princess Leia Pendant Necklace is based off of her belt that she wears in A New Hope. Clever, right? It's such a perfect nod to such an iconic look. The unique shape really makes it stand out and I think it compliments this Scalloped Sleeveless Flare Dress I picked up from Amazon in a really beautiful way. Now, you could go for a minimalist look and make the necklace the only Star Wars piece in your outfit, or you could do what I did and throw in a another Star Wars piece like a handbag. This Millennium Falcon bag designed by Jackie of Lantern Pins is absolutely incredible and I think it pairs so well with this outfit. You could also opt to add a silver belt if you wanted take the accessorizing up a notch. And last but not least, I threw on a pair of nude heels. You could have your own Princess Leia look done and ready in a minute with this necklace, a white dress and your choice of shoes.
