Star Wars x Stranger Things Bound

Star Wars x Stranger Things Bound | Anakin and His Angel

I say you’re asking me to follow you into Mordor but, the Shire is burning so, Mordor it is!
- Eddie Munson

I've been a huge fan of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things since Season 1. After watching the fourth season, and being introduced to one of my new favorite characters Eddie Munson, I decided to try my hand at a fun mashup by bringing lightsabers into the Stranger Things world. Because, why not? I have the amazing Star Wars Skynobi to thank for helping my vision come to life with his incredible editing skills.

WHAT I WORE
Hellfire Club Raglan: c/o Tilly's
Denim Jacket: Unknown
Black Vest: Zara
Black Bandana: Unknown
Lightsabers: Kylo Ren: Dok Ondar's | Single Blade: Custom from Savi's

Star Wars mashups are something I've been thinking about incorporating into my content-making for a while, and since I've been on such a Stranger Things high (can we have Season 5 now please?), I thought it would be really exciting to combine two of my favorite fandoms!

I 100% think that Eddie would have a red lightsaber but I didn't know which to go for so, I chose the one I custom built from Savi's as well as Kylo Ren's hilt to portray the guitar he uses to play Master of Puppets by Metallica in the Upside Down. It doesn't make sense, but honestly, it doesn't have to!

In the series, Eddie actually wears a black leather jacket with a denim vest layered over it but rather than buying new pieces for this bound, I challenged myself to utilize pieces I already had in my closet. I think the denim jacket and black vest worked out perfectly, and I gotta say, my natural dark brown wavy hair and bangs really helped with this bound!

What do you think of this bound? What other mashups should I do? Let me know in a comment below or get in touch with me on Instagram or Twitter.
