In Celebration of Tales of the Jedi debuting on Disney+ October 26th, Count Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn's Legacy lightsabers will be available to pre-order for $169.99 each on the shopDisney website October 26th at 7am pst. This release is part of Bring Home the Galaxy, a 9-week Star Wars holiday celebration continuing through December 13th!
Count Dooku's new hilt design is the same one fans will see in the animated anthology series, Tales of the Jedi. It, of course, ignites blue since the show takes place prior to his fall to the Dark Side. I love seeing how different it looks from the hilt we've been so familiar with all these years. I find this one quite tempting! It's interesting that it's not as curved but it's still sharp looking! I also love the addition of the grey pieces. As for Qui-Gon Jinn's hilt, you'll recognize it as the same one from The Phantom Menace. It features a rechargable battery, and will ignite green. I know many who have been waiting for this hilt to be made for a long time! It's nice to see it finally become part of the Legacy lightsaber family.
If you miss out on either of these new Legacy lightsabers from shopDisney, you'll be bappy to know that Laughing Place has reported that both will become available at Batuu West and East later this Fall. They also mentioned that these are open-edition lightsabers, and that a select few will be available to pre-order online.
