Lightsabers up for our Princess, Carrie Fisher, who would’ve turned 68 today. Happy Birthday! 💙 You are remembered today, and always.
In honor of Carrie’s Birthday, I styled a new Princess Leia bound. I hope you like it! Utilizing the silver corset, which looks like armor to me, was inspired by Jake Bartok's stunning Princess Leia Knight artwork. Of course, the look wouldn't be complete with buns, a silver belt, and her lightsaber!
I love that Princess Leia taught us that we can be girly and smart, feisty and gentle-spirited, action-driven and poised. We can have many different strengths and passions. We don't have to fit inside a particular box. We should just be ourselves!
