I always wondered what a Premiere event would be like at Disneyland. I have to thank Star Wars and Disney+ for giving Jason and I the opportunity to attend the Premiere Launch Event for the Skeleton Crew, where three episodes were shown. It was a magical experience! We both loved it and have enjoyed it immensely since then. It truly feels like an 80's galactic adventure! Of course, we had to wear our new Star Wars bounds featuring Jod Na Nawood and Neel. We were even featured by D23 (photo below)!

When we arrived, we saw many friends and familiar faces, including Pixelated Erica who looked incredible in her Pit Droid bound and Voice Actor, Shelby Young, who was also bounding as Neel! Everyone was dressed in their Star Wars best!
Our amazing Disney representative escorted us over to Galaxy's Edge where they had a red carpet set up in front of the Millennium Falcon where all the stars and makers of the show arrived! I was in awe. We even had a quick chance to meet Writer and Executive Producer Christopher Ford! He saw me first and said, "You're Neel!" which made my night. Neel was my favorite before seeing any episodes, and he has remained my favorite since. They also had amazing photo opportunities with some of the characters from the show.
Once we arrived at the Tommorland Theater, we ran into our good friend Bryan, and my friend Katarina who kindly gifted me a custom bracelet.
It was so fun watching the show with friends and the cast and crew of the show! I had a huge smile on my face when the children of the show stood up inside the theater and waved to everyone. They must've been thrilled! I adore them in the show and love the chemistry that they have. They're so talented and I'm excited to see where their careers take them next. Hopefully a Season 2 is on the list!
There's truly nothing like witnessing Star Wars on the big screen. I wish we could watch all of the Disney+ series this way. I know a lot of Star Wars fans would pay for this experience!
After the show, Disney treated us to two custom droid builds at the Droid Depot! Jason built BB-8 for my sister, and I built Chopper for my mom. We already have many of the droids available there so we thought we'd spread some Galactic Holiday cheer!
I could not be more grateful for this experience! I'll never forget it. If you'd like to see a little more, I created a Reel of the night!
I hope you enjoyed getting a closer look at what this Premiere Laumch Event was like. Who's your favorite character in Skeleton Crew? Let me know! You can leave a comment below or get in touch with me on Instagram, X, Threads or Bluesky.
