For my Birthday last month, Jason completely surprised me with three new Star Wars Hot Toys sixth-scale figures that he purchased from SideShow. These highly articulated figures continue to impress me with their level of detail and unique features. It’s always exciting when I get to add new characters to my collection!
Today, I’m so excited to share with you these photos I took of Anakin Skywalker in his armor from The Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano in her outfit from Season 7 of The Clone Wars, and a Grogu figure set that even comes with a Loth-cat!
Each figure comes in an exquisite box adorned with cinematic photography. Inside, the figure and its many accessories are packaged thoughtfully and safely. I save all of my boxes because I love the box art and keep the accessories I'm not using inside. They are also great to have for transportation or if you're moving. You'll rest easy knowing your figure will reach its next destination safely.
This version of Anakin Skywalker, there are several on the Sideshow website, is an Exclusive because it comes with a Tatooine-esque poncho (not pictured). It stands approximately 31 cm tall, has over 30 points of articulation, and has many accessories, including a holoprojector with mini Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, and Yoda projection figures! Owning this figure is so special not only because Anakin/Vader is my favorite Star wars character but because I never thought we'd get to see Hayden Christensen wear The Clone Wars armor. His hair is longer in this iteration, but if you're looking for a version that's identical to his appearance in the Ahsoka series, they have that available to pre-order if you're interested.
Similar to the Anakin figure, there are also many versions of Ahsoka Tano available. This particular Ahsoka figure is approximately 29 cm tall, has 28 points of articulation, and has many accessories, including the poncho she wears in The Clone Wars finale. You know, just in case you want to put it on her and cry again. One of my favorite features of this figure is that you can attach Ahsoka's lightsaber hilts to her sides just like she'd wear them in the series. Overall, it's a beautiful figure that seems to capture the likeness of both Ashley Eckstein and Rosario Dawson.
I own the life-size Grogu but there's no reason not to own smaller Grogu figures as well! This set has 3 Grogu figures total (one with a regular expression, one with his mouth open, and one wrapped in a blanket) and a precious Loth-cat! You can swap out the different Grogu figures from the pram to the storage box, and they're magnetic, so they won't budge! Everything about this set is adorable. I'm already thinking of who should hold Grogu wrapped in a blanket for a photo. The Mandalorian would be ideal, but there are other fun options too!
