Today, I'm thrilled to share my interview with Vanessa Marshall, the voice of one of the most proficient pilots and fearless leaders in the Star Wars galaxy, Hera Syndulla from Star Wars: Rebels. Like her character, Vanessa is one of the warmest and caring individuals you'll meet. She is a huge fan of Star Wars, and her sense of fashion is always bold and beautiful.

You're known as "Space Mom" in the Star Wars Community. Do you remember your reaction to first discovering that the fans had given you that name? What does it mean to you?
It means everything! I love it! I do not have kids of my own, but apparently, I do have a nurturing mom vibe. Never realized it until I earned this title! And now, I really appreciate it. I feel seen! Understood.
Your sense of style is so chic and edgy! Where do you draw your inspiration from?
London Fashion inspires me! It’s next level! So urban, elegant, and functional.
I've always admired how Hera Syndulla leads with confidence and compassion. She’s the kind of person you never forget, even if your time with her was short, because of her warm demeanor. Which of Hera Syndulla's traits is your favorite, and why?
Her FOCUS! I can get easily side-tracked, taking things personally, or worrying about things I cannot control. Hera only focuses on what matters. Always. And I aspire to be more like her!
What does your Star Wars collection look like? Do you have a favorite piece?
I have a bunch of action figures, but my favorite is CHEWIE! He is off card now, but he was my first, so he gets all my love! Forever!
What are your favorite things to eat at the Disney Parks?
The Mickey Mouse Chocolate Chip Cookie! AND the Pickles!
Star Wars Rebels is your favorite series, but can you tell us which Star Wars film (or films—we support multiple favorites here) holds a special place in your heart and why?
ANDOR was exceptional. I laughed; I wept and ultimately STOOD UP AND CHEERED! It reminded me that each one of us can make a difference. We must never give up. It was quintessential STAR WARS – full of so much HOPE!
