I woke up and turned 40 today! I love that it’s going to be a big year for me and Star Wars. I can’t even wait!
I never really thought about turning 40. It feels wild to say it, and I’m sure it’ll take some getting used to. 2025 brought on a lot of challenges with my health which definitely made me feel like I was getting older, but getting older is also a blessing. I may be starting off the year with yet another health issue (mild airway disease), but nothing will take away the joy God gives me. I’m very grateful to be here.
Speaking of joy, you know how people choose different inspirational words each year? I feel that mine has always been joy. In fact, yesterday I started a new devotional called Grace is Enough where it literally mentioned joy and I just thought it was such a good reminder, especially since I’m stepping into a new year…
“The whisper of self-doubt can turn into a shout if you continue to feed it. It can strip you of your confidence and steal your joy as you journey forward. That is why you must put your entire trust in Him in every step you take.”
