Yes, you read that right. Martin Scorsese, a renowned director and friend of George Lucas, has joined the cast of The Mandalorian and Grogu! He will be voicing an Adrennian, who appears to be a shopkeeper in the new official trailer, which was just released yesterday.
His voice was familiar to me, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on who it was. It’s nice to have confirmation! I’m also excited to see this sentient creature in Star Wars again. I love the character, Rio Durant in Solo: A Star Wars Story. We lost him too soon.
The trailer is chock-full of creatures! I hope there will be a Visual Dictionary to accompany this film so we can appreciate them in more detail, especially for those with less screentime than others.
