I don't know about you but I thoroughly enjoy reading about or watching different hauls. I think it's exciting to see what others buy and/or receive and sometimes it even inspires me to purchase one or two of the items myself. If this sort of thing typically irks you in some way, I would suggest skipping this post as I will be sharing all of the Star Wars goodies I was gifted for Christmas. Shall we begin?
When I first spotted The Force Awakens Visual Dictionary, I knew I had to have it! It's full of fascinating details, most of which are not apparent or explained in the film. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD* Did you know Rey is nineteen years old and that Kylo Ren's lightsaber looks and sounds the way it does because the crystal is cracked? If that got you excited, than you need to go pick up this book! You have no idea what you're in for!
I'm quite the Vinylmation collector, so adding little Chopper and Zeb from Star Wars Rebels to my collection made my heart so happy. I now have the entire Rebels Crew except for Sabine, whom they haven't made. Yet...
Aren't these little guys adorable? I'm obsessed with anything cute and I love myself a good plushie. I hadn't seen either of these before so I was very surprised! If you can't live without a mini Chopper or BB-8 yourself you can find them on Thinkgeek.com.
What's that? Oh yes, I collect Funko Pop figures too. I can't help it. This is the hooded Kylo Ren, which is my favorite. He couldn't be more perfectly made. FYI, there's also a Target exclusive of Kylo Ren without his hood.
I also got The Force Awakens Playset (comes with Rey & Finn) and The Original Trilogy Playset (comes with Luke & Leia) for Disney Infinity 3.0, plus the Darth Vader and Han Solo figures. My husband and I already played through the TFA playset and it's fantastic! *SPOILERS AHEAD* My only gripe is the last battle with Kylo Ren. Instead of defeating him with a lightsaber, you use explosives. We tried defeating him other ways but his health meter just doesn't budge. Otherwise it was quite adventurous and the characters are amazingly fun to play as!
Be. Still. My. Heart. I swapped wallets as soon as I got home from my parent's place on Christmas Eve. I will be using this Captain Phasma coin purse (Loungefly.com) until the end of time, even if I end up using it for something other than my cards and cash. I love the shape of it and the shine is such a great feature considering she's the fanciest and only chrometrooper around.
Speaking of Captain Phasma, I got this pin (Hot Topic) in my stocking! Even at my age, my parents like to fill my stocking and I have no problem with it at all! In fact, I look forward to it every year!
Tell me, what sort of Star Wars goodies did you get for Christmas?
Easy Choice: 31 inch Kylo Ren action figure. He goes quite nicely with the 31 inch Vader and 31 inch Grand Inquisitor I already own.
ReplyDeleteAhh, that's a good one! I'm sure the three of them make quite a sight!
