I began styling and incorporating Star Wars OOTD ("Outfit of the Day") posts onto the blog last October. I've truly enjoyed the art behind it and the adventure in sharing them with you and I can't tell you how much I love working the fandom that I hold so dear to my heart into my every-day attire! It's also been so exciting for me to receive your positive reactions and hear the ways I've inspired you with my styling techniques. Thank you so much for your support!

Today I am thrilled to announce that I'm sharing with you a different kind of Star Wars OOTD! This is a character inspired outfit of First Order Agent, Bazine Netal from The Force Awakens. I've done a lot of work studying the very few photos we have of Bazine and have poured hours into researching different pieces to find the perfect way of channeling this specific character but also making it 100% wearable.

While the outfit, to me, is on the edgier side the triangular patterns on Bazine's garment inspired me to go on a slight bohemian route as well. I was extremely pleased in finding the black and white kimono because it has a tiny triangle/arrow print and is long and flowy, similar to her garment. The aztec necklace was also an exciting find because not only did it fit the theme in which I was going for but it also helped to create the shape of where the black fabric meets the triangular printed fabric at the chest area on Bazine's outfit. It was the last piece I purchased and I think it really made the outfit pop! I had never seen a roll neck sleeveless chiffon blouse before and wondered if it would sit up properly and it actually worked out really well. Originally, I had wanted to find a black turtleneck but in the end I decided the loose sleeveless blouse complimented the kimono better than the fitted turtleneck with sleeves. I searched hours for a pair of half palm gloves that I liked and finally found the perfect pair in an Etsy shop. Turns out these gloves are starting to make quite the appearance in the fashion world, so it was a good investment! The only two things that weren't new purchases were the black leggings and Franco Sarto heels. Direct links to half of these items are listed above, if you're interested!

As for the make up, I went for an every-day look and then added the black shadow connecting it to my eyebrows though I didn't go for as a dramatic look as hers. I used an eye shadow primer called Primer Potion by Urban Decay to keep the eye shadow vibrant and in place. The eye shadow is called Creep and it's from the first Urban Decay Naked Palette. The lipstick is called Depraved by the brand Makeup Revolution. I was going to go for a darker purple shade like hers, but I'm all about the brighter colors.

I hope you love this outfit as much as I do and if you're wondering... YES! I will be doing more character-inspired outfits in the future!

Lastly, if you're interested in seeing my other Star Wars OOTDs, you can hit the "Style" tab up above. Thank you all for your kindness and support! MTFBWY!
