With Star Wars Celebration just two weeks away I thought I would highlight one of the cutest exclusive collectibles that will be made available to attendees each day on April 13th-16th, Hallmark's Itty Bitty plushies!
All three plushies were designed to reflect the original Star Wars action figures, perfect for the 40th anniversary of A New Hope! The Hammerhead (so chubby!) and Red Snaggletooth Itty Bittys are packed in a blister card with only 3,000 made meaning 750 will be allowed to be sold each day. The Blue Snaggletooth is not carded and there are only 1,000 of this Itty Bitty created meaning there will be a sales limit of 250 per day. Yikes!
If you're a collector of these four inch plushies, I'd highly recommend adding the Hallmark booth (#2928) to your list of priorities as these little guys will sell out fast! Sadly, many people will purchase these and sell them for hundreds on ebay, so act fast! Normally Itty Bittys are just under $7 each, but at the convention I expect that they will be higher in price.
But wait, that's not all!
"There will also be a limited number of Hallmark Gold Crown store products made available for purchase at the onsite PopMinded pop-up store. One of those items is a Star Wars Rebels Ahsoka Tano Ittty Bitty that is only available on Hallmark.com, will be offered during a signing with the voice of Ahsoka, Ashley Eckstein."
Notice, Hallmark's statement above says "One of those items", meaning I think it's possible that the '77 Action Figure Greedo that is listed as a PopMinded exclusive (same booth, #2928) in the 2017 Itty Bitty wish list *could be* another item featured there.
It has also been my theory that the Ahsoka Tano Itty Bitty would be available exclusively on the Hallmark website on Star Wars Day, May 4th, since it does have a May release but fans who are attending a signing with Ashley Eckstein will be ecstatic to get it early!
