I'm obsessed with this little green guy! So, you probably knew this was going to happen sooner or later and I definitely preferred it to be sooner. Finding all of the right pieces that I envisioned to become The Child (or, as some like to call him, "Baby Yoda") from The Mandalorian was probably one of the quickest Star Wars character-inspired outfits I've put together so far and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.
I actually have this same oversized sweater in two other colors so I decided to order this tan number since it reminded so much of the robe The Child wears. It's currently on sale on the American Eagle website though most sizes are unavailable. For reference, I'm wearing an XS/S and I'm 5'2". I paired the sweater with chocolate brown leggings (one size only fit) to create a tasteful contrast. They are the most buttery-smooth leggings I have ever owned and come in twenty-five different colors. At just under $14 on Amazon, I think I'm going to have to order another pair. I also have these heels in a few colors because they just work with everything! You can find links to everything I wore near the bottom of this post..
The accessories were the most fun part of styling this outfit! I was really happy when I found this soft green headband. It's super comfortable to wear so it doesn't cause any headaches and you can tie it however you like. The purse was something I wasn't sure would exist but I'm so happy that I found it! It represents the little shifter knob from the Razor Crest that The Child plays with. My husband though it was meant to be the pod, which is fine too. It's fun seeing how people interpret pieces differently!
The last item that I purchased was the bowl. I had to! It was such an unexpected (and adorable) scene in the series to see The Child sip his soup while watching the Mando and Cara duel it out. And yes, that's Green Milk that you see inside. You didn't think I was going to leave it empty, did you? While on Batuu a couple of different people told me that I needed the "bowl" and I was more than happy to tell them that I did indeed have one!

I met my amazing photographer Marisa on Instagram. I was completely blown away by her stunning Galaxy's Edge photography and reached out to her to ask if we could meet on Batuu for a photoshoot! I had an amazing time working with her and I'm so in love with the way the photos turned out! Be sure to give her a follow over at CutieBatuutie and get in touch with her if you'd like to have your own photos taken on Batuu! You will not be disappointed.
