Today I am very excited to be collaborating with Beyond The Gift Shop, a small business ran by Jason and Thea, a husband and wife team who are such a delight! If you're a fan of the Disney Parks and Star Wars and gravitate towards minimalist designs, you're going to want to check out their products. They carry everything from t-shirts to pins - two of the hottest items in the geek fashion industry.
They offered to send me The Force Tee (I'm wearing an XS) from their Galaxy Series which features a quote from Chirrut Îmwe (Rogue One) and Ahsoka Tano (The Clone Wars Season 7). I've loved this quote from Chirrut for so long and was ecstatic when Ahsoka repeated the same exact words in The Clone Wars season finale. I might have even teared up a bit. The t-shirt is available in sizes XS-3XL and is a unisex fit. It is made of 52% combed and ring-spun cotton and 48% polyester, so it's incredibly soft. In fact, I could sleep in it! I also love the burgundy hue and felt very inspired to sort of style an Ahsoka Tano inspired ensemble. I paired it with an Ahsoka Scarf (currently sold out) from Her Universe, which I had not worn until this shoot. Seriously, how well do these two pieces compliment each other? I can't get over it. I also wore a burgundy hat, jeans, nude heels, some gold bracelets to compliment the text on the t-shirt, and the most beautiful Ahsoka ring by RockLove Jewelry. 99% percent of the time, I get dressed every day because it does wonders for my mental health. When I'm dressed, I also feel much more confident in the tasks that I need to accomplish for the day. Plus, it makes me feel cute and refreshed! It's nice when the clothes you choose to wear are extra comfortable too, just like this t-shirt. I understand that not everyone likes to get dressed every day and that many people have chosen to stay in loungewear or even pjs during quarantine, but I would also like to encourage you to get dressed more often and see how you feel and what your day may look like because of it. Maybe even step outside and take a photo. It's quite refreshing and you just might feel more cheery afterwards.
