Today would've been the first day of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. In an effort to keep the spirit of joy alive in Star Wars fans across the galaxy, I put together a fun virtual way of celebrating and I'm calling it "Galaxy-wide Celebration". Whether or not you were planning to attend the event, this is a chance for EVERYONE to celebrate Star Wars by posting a photo in your Star Wars outfit, bound or cosplay and using the hashtag #GalaxyWideCelebration. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you'd like. The day is far from being over, so please feel free to participate!
I recently was sent this gorgeous, and incredibly comfortable, Rey slouchy top from The Colorful Geek. You can special order the slouchy style or you can find it in a unisex fit or in a women's fit. As their Star Wars Brand Ambassador, I have a special code to share with you. Use code: "ANAKINANDHISANGEL" for 15% off your order (no purchase minimum required)! Rey has been a very special character to me since we met her in The Force Awakens, so I'm really happy to have a shirt that represents such a pivotal moment in her journey. I definitely would've worn it to Celebration!
I paired the top with a new brown cordoury skirt I recently found at Target and my yellow Kyber Crystal necklace from Punch it! Chewie Press. Even though she uses the reforged Skywalker saber and Leia's lightsaber in this scene, I thought it would be nice to give her new lightsaber some love. The rest of the outfit I kept pretty simple with a pair of well-worn sandals and my beautiful Old Trilogy bag by Shop Harvey's. Comfort while walking around at conventions is key! You can find links to everything that I'm wearing listed below.

I'm sad that we can't be celebrating Star Wars together in person, but I'm excited about all of the virtual celebrations that are happening, new announcements and fun product releases. There's still much to be joyful about! I'm sending all of the *force hugs* your way.
