I first shared our lightsaber collection and display with you last October in this post. Since then, we've acquired three new legacy lightsabers from Galaxy's Edge. I honestly believe that we would have at least a couple more had things not turned out the way they did over the last six months. We can't wait to add another to our collection! We've started looking at lightsabers here and there from other companies but we really do enjoy purchasing them from Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquties. It's such an experience! Of course, we've got our eyes on Ahsoka Tano's The Clone Wars Season 7 lightsabers which were recently announced to be coming to Galaxy's Edge in Florida this Fall (*crying*). They are the first color-changing lightsabers that will be available at Dok Ondar's and they look amazing! We'd also like to add Darth Maul's to the collection and would love to see Leia's and Rey's new lightsaber become available in the near future. But if Dok's doesn't carry them, that's where our research wil come in handy. We appreciate the quality of the legacy lightsabers and like the fact that they come in collectible cases but there's a lot of other great options out there.

The three newest in our collection are the Skywalker saber, Ben's and Mace's. I remember waking up Friday morning, the day after The Rise of Skywalker was released, and discovering that Ben Solo's lightsaber (from The Last Jedi) and the reforged Skywalker saber were both available at Dok Ondar's. I was tired but still feeling that Star Wars high from the night before (but honestly, when am I not feeling this way?). So, I alerted my followers on social media and made my way to Batuu as quickly as I could. I picked up Ben's and Mace Windu's lightsabers. At that time, Mace's lightsaber was hard to come by as it was continusously in and out of stock. I sent a text message to my husband Jason informing him that I acquired the lightsaber I went there for and ended it with a quote, "There is another.". He knew immediately that I picked up more than one and was thrilled that it was Mace's as he had been wanting it for some time. I didn't get the reforged Skywalker saber since we had recently picked up the Skywalker saber. I go back and forth between getting that one. I think we need to sit down and make a "Must have" list to determine what our collection should look like. I would share with you the story about purchasing the Skywalker saber but I simply can't remember it. I think it might have been an unplanned purchase. The same thing happened when we bought Kylo Ren's. We were on Batuu for our eleventh wedding anniversary last year and we bought it on a whim because we were celebrating. I mean, why not? By the way, his is still my favorite.
I really love the Clear Lightsaber Wall Mount Holders & Blade Clips that we purchased from Amazon to display our lightsabers. It creates a very clean look and allows for the focus to be completely on the lightsabers which kind of makes them look like they're floating on the wall. They're available in quanities of 1 - 5 with the prices ranging from $8.99 - $26.99. They ship from China so it could take a little while to arrive but they are packaged well and come with instructions and all of the hardware needed to install them. We find comfort in knowing that our lightsabers our safe and secure and easily removable for play time. Remember, don't clash them too hard! These aren't meant for serious lightsaber battles.
