Beginning today Monday, November 16th through Wednesday, November 18th, a unique shopping event featuring brand new Galaxy's Edge merchandise is taking place at a pop-up shop where the ESPN Zone used to reside at Downtown Disney. I was informed by one CM that after Wednesday, these items will be headed back to the parks. I questioned whether we'd see anything available at the Star Wars Trading Post, but they didn't seem 100% certain. I honestly find it difficult to believe that none of these items will end up there but who knows!
The shop is set up concert-style, meaning all of the merchanise is placed against the walls with Cast Members ready to assist you with whatever products you'd like to take a look at. It's a spacious room with multiple registers to ensure that guests are getting through quickly. Only a certain amount of people are allowed to enter at a time to maintain social distancing. If you're interested in checking it out, you'll need to make a reservation to shop. A reservation is required for each guest in your party. Items are limited to two per guest. Annual Passholder discounts are accepted!

There were several surprise items that weren't listed on the shopping list (seen above) that made the shopping experience even more exciting! The items included a variant of the Boba Fett plushie featuring the Holiday Special Boba Fett ($22.99), a wooden Boba Fett doll with display base (I believe this was the same price as the Wooden Stormtrooper Doll - $24.99), an Admiral Thrawn poseable figure ($19.99), a remote control CB-23 droid ($119.99 - It made me happy to see some love for the animated series, Star Wars Resistance), and a Toddler Porg shoulder plush with sounds ($24.99). Some of you may remember seeing this Porg available at Walt Disney World not too long ago!

As you can see, there was a decent mix of figures, plushies, shirts and other accessories! I picked up several things (seen in the first photo on this post) and also grabbed a couple of giveaway items for my 20th blog anniversary coming up this Saturday so stay tuned for that! If you have questions about anything, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below or get in touch with me on Instagram or Twitter.
