Jason and I debuted our Watto and Bantha bounds at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim! Apparently several people thought that Jason was a Bantha handler, which we loved. But, if you look a little closer at his mask and Chance Cube necklace that he made, you’ll see exactly who he is!
These ideas came about when I spotted this Monthy Python Tim the Enchater Hat. They looked just like Bantha horns to me and I thought bounding a creature for a change would be fun! We decided it would be a fun idea to do Tatooine-themed bounds together, and that's where Watoo came in.
(I was so excited to take a photo with this amazing Bantha!)
(My friend Sara created a darling Betty's Bantha Cosplay so, we had to get a photo together!)
It took me a while to find stylish brown and tan pieces to properly represent a Bantha but my perseverance in searching for the perfect items paid off! I loved the final results so much that while I was wearing it, I was already thinking of wanting to wear it again to Batuu! I really think that layering the ripped tanned sweater helped to complete this look as it really added sort of a "hairy" element to the ensemble. I've linked everything I'm wearing below!
If you'd like to see me dancing to "Like a Bantha!", check out this video. You're welcome! ;)

Jason's bound started off with the Chance Cubes from Galaxy's Edge. He drilled holes in two cubes and made his own necklace with it using various materials that had a Tatooine feel to them. I think it turned out great! Other pieces like the blue flowy cardigan worked great to represent Watto's wings, and of course the custom mask we ordered was a hit! You can shop this look below!
