My favorite way to celebrate Star Wars Day, May the 4th, is to go to Disneyland! There's always a lot going on there, and with it being on a Saturday this year, it was the busiest May the 4th that I've experienced yet! Batuu West felt like opening day. It was super crowded but the excitement and love for the franchise was felt at every corner from the fans who were there to celebrate. I hope you enjoy getting a peek at our day. We enjoyed the day with our friends, Ash, Bryan and little Alice (check out their May the 4th Vlog), Natalie, and Hannah. We are all the dressing up type which always makes it extra fun for us! Jason was wearing an exclusive Heroes & Villains Watto t-shirt that was available for one day only, along with Poe's bandolier bag from The Rise of Skywalker. We've slowly started collecting more bounding items for him! Speaking of which, look below for a list of what I styled to create my Darth Maul bound.

We tried some new, and some not-so-new items from Docking Bay 7. I ordered the Surabat Valley Greens with Roasted Tip-Yip (Marinated Chicken, Mixed Greens, Quinoa-Veggie Mix, Mini Peppers, Olives, Cotija Cheese, Cilantro Dressing), which was delicious, and the Vintian Mineral Mousse (Banana Brulee-centered Dark Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Mousse, Vanilla Chantilly, Chocolate Crumble, Cherry garnish), which I've had many times before and love!
Jason ordered the Fried Chicken Baos (Two Crispy Chicken Baos, Spicy Katsu Sauce, Creamy Slaw). He said it was good but the boas kind of took over flavor-wise, so he ate around it. He also tried the Cold Brew Black Caf (Cold Brew Coffee topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs) for the first time but it was too sweet for his liking.
It's nice how the menus change but it's always a bit scary not knowing if your favorite items will disappear!

One thing to note about the new Kyber Crystals is that they contain a new little mechanism inside the capsules that they come in to hold the kyber crustal. They also have new characters attached to them, which you can activate with a Holocron. Speaking of which...
A kind CM also informed me that when the new Holocrons are combined, you can hear the voice of The Father who represents the balance of the Force. They also said that if you combine the new Jedi Holocron with the old Sith Holocron, you could hear the voice of The Daughter. Of course, I inquired about The Son, and she said that there is no combo that activates his voice.
I found that there were two May the 4th pins this year. There was one with C-3PO and R2-D2, but I preferred the option with more droids included that I found at the Resistant Supply on Batuu. It's so cute!
It was amazing seeing The Phantom Menace front and center at The Star Trader! I love so much of what Disney has created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film this month. Darth Maul was the focus of the collection, which is fantastic! I definitely would've liked to see more Queen Amidala merchandise though. There were Minnie Ears that sold out before I got there, a children's t-shirt, and a Limited Edition doll on the shopDisney website, which you can pre-order here (referral link) but that's about it!
There were a lot of other new items like the Hoth Starbucks collection, new figure sets, and even a Sabine Wren Special Edition doll. I'm glad they're continuing this series of dolls. I have the very first one, Ahsoka Tano but they've also made Fennec Shand and Hera Syndulla!
