Gungi is a youngling who survived Order 66. He first appeared in The Clone Wars Season 5 and many years later in The Bad Batch Season 2. Instructed by the droid Huyang, Gungi constructed his lightsaber out of wood.
It's finally happened! For Life Day, a Wookiee holiday, Galaxy's Edge released Gungi's lightsaber at Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities on both Batuu West and East. The Legacy Lightsaber is $159.99 and will also be available on November 30th on the Disney Store website.
This is a battery-operated lightsaber that ignites green (blade not included) and has a nice weight. A lot of questions are going around asking if it's made of real wood, but it's not. It only appears that way. It's made of plastic though the silver parts are metal. Fans will also be relieved to know that this is not a LE item.
