Life Day is a Wookiee tradition that celebrates family, joy, and harmony. Disneyland has been celebrating this day at Galaxy's Edge since 2021 with new merchandise and food while Star Wars fans put together photo ops, caroling, and even an Orb procession! It's a great opportunity to dress up as your favorite Star Wars character or wear something red and bring your orb. You can learn more about the scheduled activities for November 17th here. Unable to make it on the 17th? There's also an observed day on November 12th, which you can learn about here.
Now, let's take a look at what we have to look forward to!
As an avid Star Wars collector, the new merchandise for special occasions like this is one of my favorite things to look forward to!
There's already a Limited Release Life Day Pin for $19.99 from the Disney Store website. This will also be available at the parks! In fact, a fan already spotted it in Florida.
The Ren Legacy Lightsaber ($300, LE 5,000) and Helmet ($79.99) will both be available on the Disney Store website on November 17th at 8am pst. Both pieces will also be available at Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities. You can learn more about the Legacy Lightsaber here.
The Commander Gree (first seen in Revenge of the Sith) figure and helmet will also be on the Disney Store website on November 17th at 8am pst. Nick Williams recently spotted both pieces at Dok Ondar's on Batuu West as well as the Star Trader. The figure is $29.99 while the helmet is $99.99.
The Kyber Crystal and Holocron case is an unexpected item but one that collectors might be interested in as it comes with the rare black Kyber Crystal! According to a member in the Galaxy's Edge Trading Post Facebook Group, this case will be limited to 3,000 pieces and will cost $375.
I'm sure as the day gets closer we will learn of more merchandise releases, some of which should include more Life Day specific items.
This new popcorn bucket featuring none other than Chewbacca will be available at Kat Saka's Kettle on Batuu West on November 17th while supplies last. I love the way this Wookiee Life Day Bucket resembles the other wood carvings seen at the Marketplace!
These new Life Day treats will be available to enjoy beginning November 15th through January 7th at Disneyland. I like that they treat Life Day as the holiday season at the parks to give fans enough time to try out everything!

This is the first Star Wars nighttime dining reservation that has been available at the parks! Reservations are available NOW on the Disneyland website and the Disneyland App.
The reservations are $89 a person and the times slots are 8:00pm, 8:20pm, and 8:30pm. There will be a selection of new foods, nonalcoholic, and alcoholic beverages to enjoy under cover, which I'm assuming means inside, or on the patio. Afterwards, you will be given a standing view of the fireworks.
I feel it is important to point out, in case you somehow miss it, that in the event that the fireworks show is cancelled, a refund will NOT be given. You can find this information and more here.
Thank you to the Disney Store website, the Disney Eats Instagram account, and YakFace for some of the information provided in this post.
