Season of the Force is returning to Disneyland again beginning March 28th and concluding on May 11th. The Disney Parks Blog has given us a taste of what's to come to Disneyland during this extraordinary Star Wars celebration. I CANNOT WAIT!
Be sure to bookmark this page as I'll be updating it as new information is revealed!
This is a NEW nightly projection show on Batuu that will continue beyond May 11th! My jaw dropped over the Anakin & Padmé photo. Tissues will absolutely be necessary for this experience.
Stunning projection effects transform the spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falcon, evoking memories of some of the greatest moments in galactic history as an iconic musical score, comprised of familiar themes heard throughout the films of the Skywalker saga, draws the audience into the legendary story of the Skywalkers. Check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app for showtimes.
Beginning May 4th, Savi’s Workshop will offer a new storyline, "Reclaimed and Reforged", which will include scraps that have been scavenged by different pirates throughout the galaxy! This sounds like new scraps pieces to build new lightsabers to me!
The Batuu fireworks show, Fire of the Rising Moons, returns on select nights! I have never experienced this show myself because fireworks on Batuu are too loud for me, but I've heard great things about it.
Including selections from composer John Williams’ Star Wars film scores, “Fire of the Rising Moons” can be experienced from multiple areas in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including the Black Spire Spaceport, the TIE Echelon docking platform and the speeder garage. Your MagicBand+ also adds to the ceremony’s atmosphere with colorful lights and ambient vibrations. Check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app for showtimes.
Last week, it was revealed that Luke Skywalker himself would be traveling to Batuu. As of today, it's been confirmed that he will only be there for a limited time.
Finally! We’re getting Star Wars versions of the customizable headbands. Characters include: Yoda, R2-D2, an Ewok, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper. The current price for the Disney headbands is $9.99, while each character is $11.99. These will be available at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, World of Disney, The Mad Hatter, and The Star Trader.
This colorful collection is a collaboration with Her Universe and designed by Ashley Eckstein herself! It will be available at The Star Trader in Tomorrowland with one-week exclusivity, then also at Star Wars Trading Post.
There will be over 50+ new merchandise items including a Galaxy’s Edge Resistance Duos Collection (available at Resistance Supply on Batuu), and a Boba Fett Sports Jersey (available at The Star Trader, Star Wars Trading Post, and World of Disney).
Among the new merchandise releases will be a Hyperspace Mountain t-shirt available only at Disneyland park for a limited time. Locations include The Star Trader and Spaceport in Tomorrowland and Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A.
There will be returning foods and drinks, as well as new options! Photographed bottom to top, left to right: The Wookiee Cookie (available at Grand Californian Great Hall Cart through May 6), Fried Chicken Baos (available at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo on Batuu), Pi-Co Punch - NEW! (available at the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland), and the Toydarian Swirl (available at the Milk Stand on Batuu). More will be revealed at a later time!
As expected, Space Mountain is getting a transformation! The Hyperspace Mountain experience is included with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
