Season of the Force 2025 - What to Expect

Season of the Force is returning to Disneyland again beginning March 28th and concluding on May 11th. The Disney Parks Blog has given us a taste of what's to come to Disneyland during this extraordinary Star Wars celebration. I CANNOT WAIT!

Be sure to bookmark this page as I'll be updating it as new information is revealed!

SHADOWS OF A MEMORY: A SKYWALKER SAGA

UPDATE:: My friends Ash & Bryan shared that the show is at 9 p.m. and runs for about fifteen minutes.

This is a NEW nightly projection show on Batuu that will continue beyond May 11th! My jaw dropped over the Anakin & Padmé photo. Tissues will absolutely be necessary for this experience.

Stunning projection effects transform the spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falcon, evoking memories of some of the greatest moments in galactic history as an iconic musical score, comprised of familiar themes heard throughout the films of the Skywalker saga, draws the audience into the legendary story of the Skywalkers. Check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app for showtimes.

RECLAIMED AND REFORGED

Beginning May the 4th, Savi’s Workshop (Disneyland & WDW) will offer a new storyline, "Reclaimed and Reforged", which will include scraps that have been scavenged by different pirates throughout the galaxy! This new scrap metal will be available only for a LIMITED TIME. You can make reservations now on the Disneyland app or website. The experience is $219.99 per person. 2 guests are allowed per builder.

FIRE OF THE RISING MOONS

The Batuu fireworks show, Fire of the Rising Moons, returns on select nights! I have never experienced this show myself because fireworks on Batuu are too loud for me, but I've heard great things about it.

Including selections from composer John Williams’ Star Wars film scores, “Fire of the Rising Moons” can be experienced from multiple areas in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including the Black Spire Spaceport, the TIE Echelon docking platform and the speeder garage. Your MagicBand+ also adds to the ceremony’s atmosphere with colorful lights and ambient vibrations. Check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app for showtimes.

LUKE SKYWALKER

Last week, it was revealed that Luke Skywalker himself would be traveling to Batuu. As of today, it's been confirmed that he will only be there for a limited time.

STAR WARS PLUSH HEADBAND

Finally! We’re getting Star Wars versions of the customizable headbands. Characters include: Yoda, R2-D2, an Ewok, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper. The current price for the Disney headbands is $9.99, while each character is $11.99. These will be available at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, World of Disney, The Mad Hatter, and The Star Trader.

STAR WARS RETRO COLLECTION

This colorful collection is a collaboration with Her Universe and designed by Ashley Eckstein herself! It will be available at The Star Trader in Tomorrowland with one-week exclusivity, then also at Star Wars Trading Post.

STAR WARS MERCHANDISE

There will be over 50+ new merchandise items including a Galaxy’s Edge Resistance Duos Collection (available at Resistance Supply on Batuu), and a Boba Fett Sports Jersey (available at The Star Trader, Star Wars Trading Post, and World of Disney).

Among the new merchandise releases will be a Hyperspace Mountain t-shirt available only at Disneyland park for a limited time. Locations include The Star Trader and Spaceport in Tomorrowland and Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A.

NEW & RETURNING YUMMIES

There will be returning foods and drinks, as well as new options! Photographed bottom to top, left to right: The Wookiee Cookie (available at Grand Californian Great Hall Cart through May 6), Fried Chicken Baos (available at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo on Batuu), Pi-Co Punch - NEW! (available at the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland), and the Toydarian Swirl (available at the Milk Stand on Batuu).

On March 5th, the Disney Parks Blog revealed more drink and food options in their Season of the Force Foodie Guide.

HYPERSPACE MOUNTAIN

As expected, Space Mountain is getting a transformation! The Hyperspace Mountain experience is included with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

DEATH STAR BUCKET

Is it just me or do the Star Wars buckets just get cooler as the years go by? I love the light-up features on this new Death Star Bucket which will be available beginning March 28th at Galactic Grill, Popcorn near Star Trader, Kat Sakka's Kettle, beverage carts on Batuu, and the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart. There will be a limit of 2 per person.

TAUNTAUN BUCKET

The Tauntaun Bucket is adorable! I'll be curious to see if it makes sounds. This little guy will be available beginning April 8th at Galactic Grill, Kat Sakka's Kettle, and beverage carts on Batuu. There will be a limit of 2 per person.

SALVAGED CLONE TROOPER BUCKET

This is very different from the Salvaged First Order Stormtrooper Bucket that they had last year. It's nice to see a 501st Legion Clone Trooper get some love! This will be available beginning May 4th Galactic Grill, Popcorn near Star Trader, Kat Sakka's Kettle, beverage carts on Batuu, and the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart. There will be a limit of 2 per person.

COAXIUM SIPPER

I gasped when I saw this item because coaxium is featured in Solo: A Star Wars Story! I can't wait to get a closer look at it! This will be availing starting March 28th at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, and Ronto Roasters. There is no purchase limit currently given.

JAWA SIPPER

The Jawa Sipper is adorable! It'll be available starting May 4th at Galatic Grill, the Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart, and GCH Craftsman Grill. There will be a limit of 2 per person.

YODA STAINLESS STEEL TUMBLER

I would've expected this to be called the "Jedi" Stainless Steel Tumler considering there are multiple Jedi featured but overall, I love the design! You can find this starting March 28th at Galactic Grill, the Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart, and GCH Craftsman Grill. There is no purchase limit currently given.

MYTHOSAUR MUG

I prefer the original design over this new one but I do like the color contrast! It will be served with Ne’tra gal Ale (White Wampa Ale with apple cider and cherry purée) at Oga's Cantina starting March 28th. There is no purchase limit currently given.

LIGHTSABER SWIZZLE STICKS

Now, these are fun! These will be available beginning March 28th at Galactic Grill. The Skywalker Swizzle Stick will be served with the Coca-Cola Slushy (Non-alcoholic), and the Darth Vader Swizzle Stick will be served with the Blue Raspberry Slushy (Non-alcoholic). There is no purchase limit currently given.
