How lucky we are, as Star Wars fans, that this series exists! Ahsoka Season 1 filled the hearts of Rebels and The Clone Wars fans alike in a way that none of us could have ever imagined. For many, it was like a continuation of Rebels. I imagine the feeling of seeing your favorite characters, creatures, and planets in live-action is like a child seeing characters they love from Disney movies in person at Disneyland. It's unbelievable, yet wondrous.
The end of Part 4 - Fallen Jedi was one of the times that Star Wars made me cry the hardest. It was an unreal experience witnessing my two favorite characters coming face-to-face again in the World Between Worlds. It’s one of my absolute favorite things about the first season! I also love the the way the season is wrapped up with Ahsoka sensing Anakin’s presence on Peridea, and we see him there in Force Ghost form watching over her. They both finally get the closure and peace they needed with their relationship. 😭😍
We didn't know for some time after the show had ended that there would be a second season, but it was the most delightful news! During Star Wars Celebration Japan earlier this year, it was confirmed that Hayden Christensen would be returning as Anakin Skywalker. They also revealed a few other tidbits about what to expect which you can read about here. I’m so looking forward to the second season! I think about it every day.
