The entire Star Wars Galaxy gets completely mixed up when an ordinary nerf-herder, Sig Greebling (Gaten Matarazzo), unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple. He finds himself thrust into adventure in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.
With LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past, a four-part miniseries, coming to Disney+ on September 19th (watch the trailer here), I realized that I never shared with you when I went to the premiere of the first in the series in 2024!
Last September, Lucasfilm kindly invited me and my husband to the premiere of Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood, California. I love dressing on theme whenever I get the chance, so I styled a Beach Luke and Jedi Vader for us to wear to the event! Yes, these are two characters featured in the series if you haven't seen it.

The event was so much fun! I always love seeing the posters and unique photo-ops they have for fans to enjoy and interact with. It's also wonderful sharing in the excitement with fellow Star Wars fans. We even met the talented Christopher Lee, a LEGO Master! Jason and I are huge fans of the LEGO Masters show.
We were absolutely thrilled that they surprised us by showing us all four episodes! My face began hurting while watching because I was smiling and laughing so much! I’ve always been a fan of the LEGO Star Wars animated cartoons and games, but the “What if?” concept adds a whole new level of excitement. It’s so clever, and I think fans who enjoy imagining what reversed character roles (my favorite bit) or mishmash ships would be like will thoroughly enjoy it! The new characters are easy to love and root for. I’d have to say that the Gonk droid, SR-VO (Servo) was my favorite newbie.
After the show, we met up with our friends Ash & Bryan and met Dan Hernandez (one of the Showrunners, Writers, and Executive Producers). He was so kind, and it's been amazing to follow his journey in the industry online.
