Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opening Date

It’s true! The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is officially opening on September 22, 2026 in Los Angeles’s Exposition Park on an 11-acre campus. The 300,000-square-foot, 5-story structure will feature thirty-three galleries, two theaters, a retail store, a library, a cafĂ©, a restaurant, and event spaces. Yes, it sounds quite like a dream!

Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to witness life-size models of Anakin’s N1-Starfighter, General Grievous on his Wheel Bike, Luke’s Landspeeder, Podracers, and Speeder Bikes from Return of the Jedi. There will be so much more to witness and enjoy from George Lucas’ personal collection of over 40,000 pieces of art. I cannot wait to visit and share my adventure with you!

Be sure to sign up for their newsletter on lucasmuseum.org for updates on admission and ticketing information coming soon!
