On June 2nd, it was announced on Instagram by Anime Expo that the spinoff series, Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, will be debuting on Disney+ this Summer! Not only that, Production IG and Lucasfilm will host a special screening of the first episode at Anime Expo on Thursday, July 2nd from 6:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. at the JW Marriott Diamond Ballroom. The episode will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles. Fans will also get the chance to hear directly from Supervising Director, Kenji Kamiyama, Director Shunsuke Tada, Producer Hitoshi Ito, and Lucasfilm Executive Producers, Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes. The Ninth Jedi was one of my favorite episodes in Star Wars: Visions Volume 1, and I also loved the continuation of the story in Volume 3, The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope. In fact, I gave it five out of five stars in my Spoiler-Free Review, if you'd like to read it. I'm really hoping that the series continues with Kara's story on becoming a Jedi and finding her father. I'm eager to see what happens next!
