During the Ahsoka Spotlight at the D23Expo, Kristin Baver asked Eman Esfandi if he had a favorite non-human co-star. Eman’s answer was Chopper. He shared on-set stories about Chopper and said, “I’ve now worked a lot with Chopper”, implying that perhaps Ezra Bridger and Chopper have multiple scenes together in Ahsoka Season 2.
I’ve always thought that the relationship between Ezra and Chopper is so endearing in Star Wars Rebels. Some of my favorite moments are when Chopper comforts Ezra. So, it was not surprising to me when Chopper was the one who immediately recognized Ezra in the Night Trooper Armor and went up to him in the finale of Ahsoka Season 1. It’s so special!
