Star Wars Bound: A Jedi from The High Republic Era

Star Wars Bound: A Jedi from The High Republic | Anakin and His Angel

I originally wore this Jedi look to the Taste of Fall-o-Ween event at Knott's Berry Farm in October but only just properly shot it a few weeks ago. Often times, I tend to want to bound Dark Side characters or someone like Padmé, but I just really felt like styling this Jedi bound as I've never done one before. I took inspiration from the concept art for the Star Wars: The High Republic era which takes place 200 years before the events of the Skywalker saga. The publishing campaign is set to launch in January 2021 and there is currently a "rumored" animated series in the works.

I think the concept art for the characters from Star Wars: The High Republic are really elegant and they also give me strong greek mythology vibes which is the reason for the flower crown. I specifically looked for a flower crown with yellow flowers since I knew my lightsaber blade would be yellow. I also complimented the look with a simple but lovely yellow kyber crystal necklace from my friends over at Punch It Chewie Press.

My mom made me this Jedi Robe for when I stood in line to see the Revenge of the Sith midnight showing per my request (I guess I was a little more "Light side" back then). It's quite heavy which has always made it feel more authentic and it flows beautifully, just as a Jedi robe should. I love the way it looks paired with the caramel-colored sleeveless cardigan, the tan sweater dress, and the tan boots that my sister kindly let me borrow. The different brown hues really compliment each other and provided this outfit the proper layered ensemble a Jedi typically wears. You can find a list of everything I'm wearing below.
