Love and Madness is the home of unique and officially licensed pop culture jewelry, including Star Wars! I recently put in an order for a couple of items, including the adorable Death Star Midi Ring, and the ladies kindly sent me some extra goodies to go along with it! My items arrived safely tucked in super chic pouches along with a personalized note. Not only was the presentation top notch but the products are of great quality and instantly left me inspired to create a Death Star manicure to go along with my new midi ring and metallic body tattoos.

The Death Star Midi Ring is one of eleven different Star Wars character designs which are available in 14K Gold Plated or Silver Plated Brass and priced at $20 each. They're a size 3 and have a sizing back so you could actually wear it as a pinky ring if that suits your fancy. I absolutely love the Death Star design and it's super comfortable to wear!

The Star Wars Metallic Tattoos are also $20 each and come with two full sheets of gold, silver, and black designs. There is also a prismatic colored set for $10. I found these very easy to use by just wetting a wash cloth and holding it over the tattoo for 30 seconds as the directions stated. L&M suggests removing the tattoos with baby oil, but I found that coconut oil works well too.

*In these photos, I'm sporting the Death Star on my upper arm and a Star Destroyer on my ring finger as seen above.

I chose silver polish to represent the Death Star and worked up a couple accent nails in black with glitter layered on top to create a "space look". Believe it or not, there were a few people who guessed that my manicure was Star Wars inspired which left me feeling quite accomplished! Both the Silver (Top Speed: Sterling) and Black (Colorstay: Stiletto) shades are by Revlon and though the glitter polish by Julep is no longer available, any glitter polish will do!

What kinds of Star Wars accessories do you like to wear most?

Stay tuned for more from Love and Madness!
