When my friend Jackie from Lantern Pins released her Rose Gold Ita Bag I knew I had no choice buy to get one. Rose gold is one of my favorite colors and I had been wanting to get another backpack to display even more of my buttons and pins in a fun and secure way. When I finally received it in the mail I was astonished at how bright and beautiful it was (trust me when I say the photos really don't do it justice). Not only is this bag a gorgeous rose gold shade but it's also holographic making it very much of a standout fashion accessory. It's made very well though it's not as thick as my Heart Cutout Mini Backpack Loungefly but that's just because it's made of a lighter material (PVC to be exact). Please understand this is not a negative feature, it holds literally everything I need and will be able to carry even more for my trips to Disneyland! It's quite sturdy, super comfortable to wear and the zipper works as smooth as Bantha Milk (not that I've tried it or anything). Overall I am extremely satisfied with this backpack and would highly recommend it to anyone who has been thinking about one especially if you're wanting to display your buttons and pins without having to worry about them falling off or being stolen. It's only $25 and also comes in black and silver!

Most of my buttons and pins are a collection of the things I am most obsessed with which is obviously Star Wars and Disney. I love being able to express myself with accessories such as these because it just feels like me. Before the button/pin phase started I had many that I collected overtime but I was really never able to wear them. Then I started seeing fans pinning them to their denim jackets or vests and inserting them into newly designed backpacks that were made for the purpose of displaying buttons/pins in a safe way.

I like to start decorating the front panel of my backpack by choosing some of my favorite buttons/pins and others that I haven't showcased in a while. I also like to choose buttons of different sizes and pins with various shapes. I think this gives the overall appearance a characterized look that has different textures and colors. When pinning them in place I like to have the backpack faced upright but away from me so that I can easily reach in to attach them inside and out to grab more! I personally like to make sure my buttons and pins are spread out evenly for a clean look but you can decorate yours any way you want to. Some people don't mind attaching them to the fabric but others will use a thick sheet of paper that they size and cut to fit inside so as to help prevent the fabric from being ruined. This may happen if you consistently update your backpack but so far I haven't had a problem. However, I do want try the paper trick sometime if I can find one that looks nice enough and will compliment the backpack.

If you're wondering, I've only ever had one or two buttons/pins come undone before. The nice thing is if and when it does happen they just fall to the bottom of the bag because there is no way for them to fall outside of it. I find that using pouches to store items you need to carry that might get caught on the buttons/pins on the inside helps to prevent this from happening. I don't consider this a downside at all since it provides more organization which is essential for any type of bag or backpack you're carrying.

Note: I realized after editing the photo above that the fabric of the inside pocket got pushed down at the top revealing the inside of the bag. This normally does not happen and might have been due to an item that was oddly placed inside or the weight of the pin at the top.

Curious as to where all my buttons and pins are from? I thought you might be. I've included a list below. Items are listed from top to bottom and left to right:

Galactic Porg - Lantern Pins

Jabba the Hutt - Hot Topic
