Today marks 20 years since The Phantom Menace was released in theaters. I was thirteen years old when I saw the movie and I remember feeling that my love for Star Wars had doubled as soon as it ended. I immediately went home and started decorating my room with any Star Wars collectibles that I already had (which mostly consisted of Han Solo, Princess Leia and Darth Vader items) and I began collecting toys and everything else I could get my hands on from the new movie. Believe it or not, before I purchased any posters I taped trading cards to my walls! I still can't believe I did that to this day.

When Star Wars Celebration Chicago came around I asked my friend Nancy to pick this TPM shirt up for me from the Celebration Store. My friend Michael Pasquale designed it and I had to have it! Lucasfilm recognized his incredible Star Wars artwork via Social Media and asked him to be a featured artist at Celebration and create official artwork! I've been a fan of Michael's work for a while and own multiple prints and enamel pins that he's made. Now to have a gorgeous shirt representing the iconic characters from the film in my collection is such a treat! Unfortunately tucking it into my skirt the way I did cut off some of the characters so please look above for the full piece!

Dressing up Star Wars t-shirts is basically one of my specialties. I feel like I kind of took it to the next level with this lovely strand of pearls my Grandma gifted me when I was a little girl. The skirt, heels (which I now own in four colors), and the clutch helped to create an overall chic ensemble which I'm definitely all about. I have an insane amount of Star Wars t-shirts so styling them with different accessories helps with creating whichever vibe I'm feeling on that particular day. Plus, you can never go wrong with pairing a t-shirt and a skirt together!

I was thrilled when I found out I won this Queen Amidala makeup bag that Megan Won designed for a Twitter giveaway. Isn't she talented? Queen Amidala is one of my favorite characters in all of Star Wars. She has the best wardrobe in the galaxy and I would honestly love to have several reasons to change my outfits throughout the day.

How old were you when you saw The Phantom Menace? Did you love it as much I did? Let me know in a comment below.
