WonderCon is one of the largest pop culture conventions on the West Coast. In 2018 they welcomed over 66,000 passionate individuals of fandoms like Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and many more. The thirty-three year old event took place on March 29-30 at the Anaheim Convention Center. My husband Jason and I had not yet been to this convention but we've always heard great things about it from our friends. It immediately became our second favorite convention after Star Wars Celebration! It was a highly organized event with some of the best cosplayers we've seen, and a plethora of amazing exhibitors and panels. I'm so thankful to WonderCon for providing us press passes so that we could bring back fun Star Wars content for you all to enjoy, especially those of you who were not able to attend. Today's WonderCon post is focused on the Star Wars Cosplayers we spotted throughout Saturday and Sunday.

The Rebel Legion had a strong presence at the event. Everyone wanted to stop by their booth to get photos at their incredible Endor Bunker. We made sure to make multiple stops throughout the day to see what new Star Wars Cosplayers would be there. Scott's Commander Cody is unbelievable and I was excited to get these photos of him! This group shot I was able to take totally made my day (the lovely Admiral Holdo is Michelle) and I was super thankful to the Jedi on the left who recognized me and offered me a lightsaber for the photo. What do you think? Does the Light Side look good on me? Also, this Rose Tico cosplayer was the sweetest seventy-two year old lady I have ever met! I almost didn't believe her when she revealed her age and I still can't get over all her amazing accessories from the Tico Sister moon necklace to the fathier. Isn't she the cutest?

I always love seeing my friend Alex at fan conventions. Her work is so beautiful and she has such an eye for intricate details. This was my first time seeing her Cloud City Princess Leia and I literally got goosebumps over how screen accurate it was. The silk cape was the most heavenly thing I saw all day! I snapped these photos of her and her boyfriend Griffin who made the perfect Han Solo. Thankfully he wasn't in carbonite so they could take a cute couple photo!

I met Adria at the Her Universe Fashion Panel. Adria was a contestant in last year's Her Universe Fashion Show. Remember that insanely gorgeous The Last Jedi inspired coat that everyone wished they had in their closet? Yeah, she designed it! She also created this feminine version of Director Orson Krennic's uniform and cape from Rogue One. What a classic look!

It's not a party without Darth Vader! Jason pledged his allegiance to the Dark Side and I decided to challenge him to an arm wrestle to which he menacingly laughed at. Be honest, who do you think would win? Briian is the man behind the mask and he is obviously a remarkable Vader who looks like he stepped right out of the films. He was there representing the 501st Legion!

It was so awesome to see Bo-Katan (Emily) and Ursa Wren (Amanda) at the Mandalorian Mercs booth. I think it's so neat to see fans of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels cosplaying their favorite animated characters! Last year at L.A. Comic Con I took a photo with Victor in his glorious Enfys Nest cosplay and this year he was sporting his unique Mandalorian armor! There was also a Wookiee in Mandalorian armor (Phillip) roaming about and I basically had one of those freak-out fan moments. He was so tall!

Everyone wanted a photo of General Grievous so it was hard to get the perfect shot but I'm really happy I got the one of him coughing. I don't think any of the fans surrounding him expected that! This cosplayer was in full character and it was the absolute greatest! You can see him walking around the convention in this video.

Whether you were outdoors or indoors at the convention, everywhere you turned there was something amazing to be seen - from a fierce female Kylo Ren to a Lando who conversed with fans in character. What I've shared with you today is just a very small peak into the Star Wars Cosplay that was present at WonderCon. There's also nothing like witnessing these cosplayers in person. As a Star Wars fan and overall geek of many fandoms I find it thrilling to be around such talent! It's really just a lot of fun to escape from reality for the weekend and be in a place where people are all enjoying the fandoms they love most in their own way.

WonderCon will be back on Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 12, 2020!

Which of these cosplays are your favorite? Have you attended WonderCon before? What was your experience like? Let me know in a comment below or hit me up on Twitter or Instagram.

Special thanks to: WonderCon for allowing us to cover the event by offering my husband and me press passes.
